With over 32 years of working in the ski centre business the Lecht engineering staff have diversified their talents, from just building our own ski lifts, buildings, ski slopes, snow making systems etc into many and various areas.
The latest contract is to supply heated boot racks to one of the ski resorts in Iceland. These racks are based on our own system of giving the customer a warm dry boot first thing every morning.
Other contracts include:
Installing, with the aid of a specially designed ski lift system, the feeding system for the Cheetahs at Fota Wild Life Park, Ireland. This required the cheetahs having to chase after their food, hung on to the lift, at 50 mph and then for the keepers to be able to be reverse or change direction to confuse the cheetahs. Feeding time is the highlight at Fota Park.

Manchester Snow Dome. The Lecht supplied all the racking for the ski hire department for skis, boards and heated boot racks as well as workbenches and VIP racks.
Work done at other Dry Ski Slopes, either construction, refurbishment or maintenance done by the Lecht Ski Co include:
Aberdeen, Alford, Craigendarroch, Loch Rannoch, Abernethy, Southampton, Aldershot, Rossendale, Aviemore and Hillend Edinburgh.
Other contracts include construction work for local builders and landowners.
