Equipment hire

The on-line booking system will be able to take bookings for Sunday 21st March 2010 onwards.

Bookings on line will initially be available up to 4pm in advance of the day required.  Bookings can be made after 4pm up-till 11pm for the following day but we will not be able to confirm the booking.

There are two ways to get your hire equipment :

• Book in advance on line.  Follow the instructions on the Equipment Hire button at the top of the page.  You will get a email confirming what you have ordered.   You will then get another email later that day confirming your order has been accepted.   When you arrive on the day please bring your booking reference number and go to the Lift Ticket Desk No 3 in the main foyer, where you will confirm your requirements, choose your lift passes and pay for everything at the same time.  You will then be directed to go to ski hire and to go to a special workbench for on line bookings.   

•  Non pre-booked.  The Lecht has installed a ‘deli’ style queue system, so as soon as you arrive take a ticket at the ski hire entrance and this will place you in the queue.   You need to fill in various details on a form, available at the hire entrance.    This then allows you time to get yourself organised and wait in comfort.  There are displays around the building and in the café and bar showing what number is being processed at the time.   This avoids having to stand around waiting.days there is no great delay in issuing your equipment but please bear in mind that if the whole of Scotland decides to ski on the same day there are physical limitations in issuing over 600 sets of equipment quickly and safely.  Booking on line is the speediest way to get your equipment and it will be reserved for you till 11 am each day.
